  • OTM SIG 2-Day User's Conference - SAVE THE DATE!

    Save the Date
    August 6th and 7th 2007
    OTM SIG 2-Day User's Conference
    King of Prussia, PA

    Hi All,

Over the past 18 months, both pre-merger and post-merger OTM customers have faced challenges in getting detailed system information from an end-user's perspective. Pre-merger OTM customers have had their challenges maintaining the level of "access" to which they were accustomed, while post-merger customers have been searching for experienced client contacts with detailed information about using and configuring OTM. Although conferences like Collaborate and Open World are a great opportunity to learn about everything Oracle has to offer, these conferences don't offer the level of detail those of us specifically working in Transportation need.

We've been listening to your input and your requests and are very excited to announce the OTM SIG, in collaboration with OTM Clients, our consulting partners and Oracle has scheduled a two-day OTM specific user's conference. The conference is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday August 6th and 7th in King of Prussia, PA.

This two day event will include:
    • Presentations and interaction with the Oracle Development team, who are based in King of Prussia
    • End user testimonials and system usage stories
    • Consulting Partner techniques and experiences implementing and tuning OTM
    • Client Panel discussions
    • And much more.

If you have ideas or specific topics you'd like to see covered or they would like to share information about your processes, struggles, etc, - reply to this message with your thoughts.

Additionally, if you're interested in participating in the event, please reply to this message so we can begin to get a rough headcount. There will be a conference fee to cover expenses, but it is expected to be less than $500 per attendee.

More information about the event will be sent as details are learned.

We look forward to seeing you in KOP...and please remember to reply to this message with agenda ideas, questions, and to let us know how many people from your organization plan to attend.

    Sincerely,
    OTM SIG

Re: OTM SIG 2-Day User's Conference - SAVE THE DATE!

    Hi Chris,

I am new to this forum. A little introduction about myself. My name is Philip Cheong and I worked for Toyota Motor Sales in Torrance. We had recently purchased the OTM 5.5 product and is in the process of installing the software. I heard about the upcoming user's conference in KOP. My colleagues and I are interested to attend. Would you send me details about the conference.

    Thanks.

      Philip,

Hello! I've forwarded your contact details over to Jada and Beth, who are also on the OTM SIG Board. They will include you on the email list.

We're working hard to nail down the details on the conference now and I expect that an email with more conference details will go out late next week.

Thanks again for your interest and I hope to see you there!

Re: OTM SIG 2-Day User's Conference - SAVE THE DATE!

          Jeanne,

First, thank you for your interest in the OTM SIG - we are always looking for additional participation and we are truly looking forward to the upcoming conference in KOP.

To join the SIG and add your contact information to all upcoming conference update information, please log on to OTM SIG - OAUG - Oracle OTM / G-Log GC3 User Group click participate and register for the SIG via OAUG. (Keep in mind you do not have to be a member of OAUG to participate with the SIG).

Regarding the upcoming conference - registration for the conference should be available this week. As soon as the web-portal registration is available we will be notifying the entire SIG distribution via email, and post a similar notice on the forum. As a point of reference, space is very limited for this conference and with a growing OTM Client base; the conference will sell out quickly.

We look forward to working with you and meeting you in person in KOP.

If you have any further, question or comments, please feel free to contact us

          Thanks,
          Chris

              Pete,

There have been some delays in getting the Registration web page completed and available. We've been assured that this will be complete today or tomorrow and then we'll open everything up.

Thanks for you patience and we'll ensure everyone is notified, both by posting here on the forums and by sending out an email to the OTM SIG email list.

                Hi Chris,

Interested in the OTM SIG User Conference - we began our OTM(v. 5.5) / EBS (v. 11.5.10.2) implementation and are six months into at this point. Lots of lessons learned and integration feedback to share.

Can you send me the registration info?
                Thanks,
                Jeff

                    Chris,

Is there a cost to attend the OTM SIG meeting in KOP and is their still space available? We are interested in sending several people from our IT department and logistics group.

                    Thanks,
                    Mark

Re: OTM SIG 2-Day User's Conference - SAVE THE DATE!

                      Mark,

Yes, there is a cost to attend. We've set the costs, but I'm always careful about giving exact numbers before the official release of information. I can tell you that the costs will be less than $500 per person (conference only) and less than $850 per person (
conference plus hotel). We're working very hard to ensure this event is affordable and a great value.

We haven't opened up registration yet, though I'm expecting it to happen today (fingers crossed!), so there are definitely spaces available. I believe our limit, due to the presentation spaces is between 100 and 150 attendees, which we expect to go fast, based on the interest we've received.

                      Thanks!
