  • Error while setting up an External System

    Hi,
I want to configure an External System so that I can send some data to another system by hitting a Web Service, but when I am configuring the "WSDL Document" it is giving me the following error, I have given the document url as http://localhost:8888/Testing_Develo...pHttpPort?wsdl. I have done the same for invoking a Bpel Process, but it was working fine.

    ERROR:
javax.wsdl.WSDLException: WSDLException: faultCode=OTHER_ERROR: Unable to resolve imported document at 'http://localhost:8888/Testing_Develop-Calling_WebService-context-root/XmlToStrSoapHttpPort?wsdl'.: java.net.ConnectException: Tried all: '1' addresses, but could not connect over HTTP to server: localhost, port: '8888'

    Thanks,
    Giri.

The error indicates that OTM was unable to make a connection to the server located at localhost on port 8888 in order to pull off the WSDL document. Can you confirm that this URL is correct and that you're able to otherwise connect (for instance, telnetting from the OTM app server to localhost 888.

So the OTM App server is on the same windows server that you were running internet explorer on? I just want to ensure we're not overlooking something simple.

Sorry Chris, the issue has been resolved, the problem was with my Apps Server. When I tried creating a new external system with a wsdl in some other Apps Server, it was woring fine. Anyway thanks.

Re: Error while setting up an External System

            Hi Itsgiri,
I have the similar issue as you had.
I have the web service on the same system as where the Application Server sits.
Does this has any impact on inbound and outobound integration data?
            Please let me know.
            Regards,
            Nikesh.

Re: Error while setting up an External System

              Hi Nikesh,
Are you using the Oracle SOA Suite or anything else as your application server? As I am usnig this, i can tell you about this only. If you are using this and are having issues then please reinstall the SOA Suite again, my issue was resolved when i reinstalled it.

              Thanks & Regards,
              Girish.
