  • Accessing ARCHIVE DB data

    Team

I want to move the OTM data (Orders, Shipment and related history and Financials data) to archive schema and wonder we have any control onit.
The users' want to move OTM data older than 6-months to archive table but wants to access later on. They want to store 24-months of data in the archive table and wanted to access Thru' OTM GUI or custom GUI (but not sure about OTM GUI but I said custom GUI is possible).
How do I go about it? I hope that one of you would have come across and appreciate if you can share your experience will be highly appreciated.

    Hi,

There isn't anything within OTM to allow you to view archive the data. It will need to be some 3rd party custom application.

      Thanks for the feedback.
Is there any way to control the data to move to ARCHIVE table (table *_DMP)?
Does OTM ship with standard scripts/package that we can modify ?
I am planning to hold data upto 24-months in the archive and do you have any insight on based on the experience?

      Thanks for sharing your inputs.

All of this can be found in the admin guide on how to set it up.
