  • Error editing accessorial costs.

I've had some trouble today when I update the accessorial costs for the week. Under power data>rates and codes>accessorial costs, after changing the expiration date and clicking finish, I get the following error:

    Generic_Remote_Exception

    Any suggestions would be helpful.

    Thanks,

    Re: Error editing accessorial costs.

John - if you get a chance, turn on the SQL logs and try the same action in the UI. Take a look at the SQL statement that is being issued when you try to make this change via the UI and then post that on here. Is this a process that you have run before without any issues ?

      Re: Error editing accessorial costs.

I'm sorry, but I'm very new to this, but how do I turn on the SQL logs and yes, I was able to run this process before with no problems. Errors started occuring the past few weeks.

        Re: Error editing accessorial costs.

Under Configuration and Administration > Power Data > General > Log Files, run a search. You should see a log file that corresponds to your user - if not, you can create a new one (log file type = user and
log id = your user name without the domain specified).

In the Log file Details component of the screen, you can choose those elements of the application you want your log file to include. For now, I would add SQL - if you then log out, log back in again and re-run the action from the UI, you should see more details in your log file.

Basically, your issue seems to be with updating the rate record TMS.RF_20080115091805_FSC_BRIL_LTL _ST_20080114_1 but until we dig in to more detail, its hard to nail down the exact error.
