Does anyone know how I could model this business practice in OTM.
We sell our product internationally, so some times a customer has ordered a container from us that is on the water, and the customer will cancel the order. In this situation we have to find a new customer for the product that is already halfway through it's shipment process.
Is there a way to change the customer even though the shipment is already built? Could I just delete the entire shipment and order, and put through a new one with the new customer, with date emphasis set to past or none? My guess is what would work best might be putting through new order releases, adding them to the existing shipment, and removing the old order releases from the shipment. Does this sound right?
