    Re: Shipment Equipment - Shipment

Shipment equipment links a SHIPMENT with an Equipment Group profile.

Then S_SHIP_UNITS are linked to SHIPMENT EQUIPMENT also. I believe this allows for multiple EQUIPMENT GROUPS to be linked to a single Shipment.

What are you trying to achive?

        Re: Shipment Equipment - Shipment

        Hi,

The equipments at the tab "Equipment" is the equipment assigned to the shipment used for moving this transport. This can be multiple equipment, e.g. 20 Containers to move this shipment. (Choice is whether you want 1 shipment with 20 equipments or 20 shipments with 1 container each.....)

If you want to assign an equipment number/id to an equipment, edit on the tab "Equipment" the record from the equipment. Clicking on the "Shipment Equipment" will open up the screen to edit this.
        Best Regards,

          Re: Shipment Equipment - Shipment

          Hi
Can we create No. of S_EQUIPMENT equals to No. of THU mentioned in related Order Ship Unit?
E.g.- 2 no. of THU count defined in a single ship unit of order. When i plan that order it should create 2 S-Equipment.

          Regards,

You can use ERU - Equipment Reference Unit

              Re: Shipment Equipment - Shipment

Thanks Joseph, I tried with ERU also but still it return me 1 S_EQUIPMENT with No. of ERU equal to THU count. I have defined THU with ERU id n count, Defined ERU in Equipment Group also CHECK EQUIPMENT CAPACITY IN REFERENCE UNITS = true.
Could you elaborate more on Configuration part??

              Thanks,

                Re: Shipment Equipment - Shipment

Did you set "Count Splitable" on Ship Unit?
If you can get two shipments, then you can enable "Create Single Shipment" option in Itinerary Leg.

                  Re: Shipment Equipment - Shipment

                  Thank you Joseph,
Now I am able to get S-Equipments = No. of THU, there ws issue in Equipment Group.

One more question, is there any another way (without defining ERU and different shipment for each container) to capture Container Functionality (E.g.-1 order = 3 * 20ft Containers + 2* 40 ft Containers - need to update each container details) ??

                  Thanks lot.

                    Re: Shipment Equipment - Shipment

Try to see if "Order Release Equipment" is suitable for your requirement.
