  • [SOLVED] COnditional booking setup

    Hi,

I want to use the functionality "Conditional Booking" when tenders/bookings get accepted.

According the help-files I configured everything the right way:

    - Setup Conditional Booking profiles.
    - Setup the Service provider to allow him conditional bookings

After that I tendered a few shipments, but I still don't see any difference for accepting shipments.

Do I miss something here in the configuration?

    I'm using Version 5.0

    Best regards,

    B.Romijn

    Re: COnditional booking setup

    Bob,

You also need to define the conditional booking profile as the default for the domain. This was the response I got when I asked the same question of support two months ago. These were with 5.5.

There are 4 things needed to setup conditional booking.

    1. Set the Service Provider as "Do Conditional Accepts"
    2. Create a Conditional Booking Profile
    3. Via Domain Settings set the Domain's Conditional Booking Profile
    4. Update Workflow Parameters to include the mode.
    "BOOKING_MODES" and "CONDITIONAL_BOOKING_MODES"

If needed to accept Null Service Provider values automatically change this parameter to True "COND_BOOK_ACCEPT_SPV_WHEN_PV_IS_NULL"

      [SOLVED] COnditional booking setup

      Hi,

The missing link was indeed the domain settings. A bit of a shame it is not mentioned at all in the help........

      Thanks for your help.
