  • Error in operational reports

    Hi all,

In OTM 6.3.2 when i am trying to access operational reports , it is throwing error "This client session has expired. See online help for more information". To fix this issue i tried to run reports from report manager and added it in menu manager for that login period this error goes bt if i will logout and then again login same error display.

can anyone have any idea why this is coming.

    Thanks in advance...

    Re: Error in operational reports

    Hi Deepti,

Generally, these kind of errors came when report size is huge and takes time to extract from OTM

We faced the same problem and now we are selecting 'Delivery Method' as 'Email'

    Thank you

      Re: Error in operational reports

      Hi Prasad,

      Thanku for reply,

This is not seems report size problem because while accesing opeartion reports on particular session in which we have configured it is showing screen as it should show bt once i will logout and then again login it is showing the error.
and we are using delivery method as "Display on screen".

        Re: Error in operational reports

        Hi Deepti,

Please use Delivery Method as 'Email', if you have configured SMTP on your OTM Web/App server

        Thank you

          Re: Error in operational reports

          Got Solution by oracle support:
This is the new way to create reports link in OTM 6.3.2 :
When you save the report url and add it as an external link, remove the subsession id, bcKey, and the ct token
so that the url looks something like this:
          http://xxx/GC3/glog.webserver.report...P_STOP&DB=OLTP

            Hi,

Also instead of hardcoding home directory URL, you can just provide as below in menu manager and it will work for all instance.

            glog.webserver.report.ReportParameterServlet/1337856147010?ct=223561499&report_gid=<DOMAINNAME. REPORT_ID>&DB=OLTP

Yes, even i faced the same issue but with http://xxx/GC3/glog.webserver.report...P_STOP&DB=OLTP we got solution when giving specific report access to user login.
